Mother’s Day Special: TV folks talk about the bollywood on-screen mother they relate too!

Mumbai:
Shashank Vyas: I relate with Jaya Bachchan of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. Her character showered unconditional love on her children and supported them at every stage. Similarly, my late mother Geeta encouraged me to do whatever I want to. Mother is a part of the heart of every child who gets security, love, and affection in abundance.

Arjun Bijlani: I relate with the character Nandini Raichand played by Jaya Bachchan. She was so classy and graceful and was very particular about the responsibilities and rituals and encouraged independence as well. My mother is also very particular about family values and same I am passing on to my son Ayaan.

Gunjan Utreja: I relate with Kirron Kher from Om Shanti Om because she was the only one who believed in me. She believed that I could be successful in the field of entertainment. This was even before anyone believed in me including myself. She has kept me grounded till date. She is my cool friend technically.

Laksh: I relate to the character Lajjwanti played by Farida Jalal in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. The character was supportive and knew what made her kids happy and stood by them in all circumstances. Likewise, I have my mother who has always been a support to me and knows what’s right.

Vahbiz Dorabjee: I relate to Mrs. Choudhary played by Reema Lagoo from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. She was very loving and sister like and my mother is exactly like that. My mother is a very happy go lucky person with never say die attitude. She always puts family’s happiness above everything.
